About Thirty one
Thirty One is a game for two or more players. A 52-card deck is used to play the game.
The choice of a dealer is necessary before the game can start. From a shuffled deck, one card is drawn by each player. The dealer is the player who has the lowest card. The dealer deals three cards to each player in a clockwise motion after shuffling the deck.
The stock is made up of the remaining deck, which is put in the center of the playing area. The top card in the deck is turned over, put next to it, and the other cards constitute the discard pile.
How To Play
Play begins with the player to the dealer's left. Players try to get a hand as near to or equal to 31 when it is their turn by choosing whether to take a card from the stock or the discard pile and then they must discard one of their own cards.
Points are only awarded for cards in the same suit. A player's hand, for instance, would be valued at 19 if they held an Ace of Spades, an 8 of Spades, and a King of Hearts.
A player's hand is worth 30 points if they have three of a kind.
A player knocks on the table once they are confident with their hand. therefore, each of the other players has one more.
